Along  the way I so enjoyed learning the history of the area and making new friends. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon and I would highly recommend it as a couples date or a gift certificate for the person who has everything. The food was delicious and actually provided a complete meal for me by the end of the tour. This would be a fabulous first day trip to learn where to eat and visit for the rest of your stay in Bandon. I enjoyed learning about the town's past and life in a seacoast community. Charis, our tour guide, provided good information about the struggles and successes of the town. The food experience was beyond my expectations--with a variety of "taste thrills" from interesting beverages to seafood to chocolate and cranberries. I came away filled  with local delicacies. An unexpected pleasure was interacting with the local business owners who shared their stories about their businesses and made great connections with our group. Welcome to my next chapter! A few years ago, my husband and I became empty nesters. He loves to golf, and I love the Oregon Coast. We moved to Bandon, and it is magical. After over thirty years working in public education, I would like to explore more of my passions in life. I love to travel, learn and experience new things, and I love to laugh and meet new people. Please come and let me share what is so special about Bandon with you.

I was thrilled when Charis invited me to partner in a Bandon tour company. Having recently moved to Bandon, Oregon in the fall of 2023, I quickly fell in love with the area’s unique beauty, vibrant community, and rich history.

My husband and I have always worked hard to provide experiences over material things for our two children. Food Lover and Historic Tours have been a must for our adventures around the world.
